Founded by next-gen local bartenders Jerrold Khoo & Bai JiaWei, Stay Gold Flamingo was carved as a Third Place for the community in celebration of life, drinks, and music. In short, we want to invigorate the jaded; reminding people to stay gold in fast-paced world we are living in.
Offering two distinct experiences for free-spirited imbibers, the concept is anchored by Stay Gold, a modern classic space with a rock and roll attitude where the thirsty can enjoy themselves over good music and solid cocktails, while coffee bar Flamingo serves up lunch, coffee and low ABV cocktails with a splash of funk.

A dynamic bartender with a significant role to play in successfully building Singapore’s craft cocktail scene from the ground up, 31-year-old homegrown talent Jerrold Khoo has amassed over a decade of bartending expertise under his belt.
He spent the bulk of his bartending career at acclaimed local bar Jigger & Pony from 2013 to 2021, quickly rising through the ranks and clinching an array of accolades, including being awarded the winner of Diageo World Class Singapore 2018, and World Gourmet Summit 2019 Bar Manager of the Year.
In 2021, Jerrold took his career a step further, teaming up with fellow maverick and bartender Bai JiaWei to open Stay Gold Flamingo. His expertise in the Japanese technique of cocktail-making fuses with JiaWei’s high-energy American style; the former focusing on perfection and innovation, essentially transforming the process into an elegant, artistic ritual with meaning behind every movement.

At the age of 28, Bai JiaWei has close to a decade of experience under his belt in the local bartending realm, successfully establishing himself as a next-gen talent emerging from Singapore’s burgeoning craft cocktail scene. His vibrant personality and passion for his craft translates into the remarkable footsteps he has taken across various aspects of bartending.
In 2016, JiaWei joined Employees Only and spent the succeeding four years becoming proficient in the American cocktail culture. The creativity, dexterity and speed of American bartending nurtured his growth from an Apprentice to Principal Bartender, enabling him to manage the concept independently.
As an avid believer of individual expression, JiaWei has taken a bold leap forward in his career in 2021 with fellow bartender Jerrold Khoo to jointly open Stay Gold Flamingo, incorporating his American bartending style with the elegance of Jerrold’s Japanese form of cocktail-making. Together, they aspire to gather a spirited community, in celebration of life over good music and spotlighting notable classic cocktails.
